# Missing House Number

> Block addresses that have no house or building number in Address line 1.

Couriers often can't deliver to an address like "Main Street" because it has no house number. This rule blocks checkout when **Address line 1** doesn't contain at least one digit.

## What it checks

| Address line 1 | Result |
| - | - |
| `12 Main Street` | Allowed |
| `Main Street 12` | Allowed |
| `Main Street` | Blocked |
| *(empty)* | Blocked |

The message appears next to **Address line 1** of the address that has the problem.

## Settings

| Setting | Description |
| - | - |
| Countries | **All countries**, or only orders shipped to **Specific countries**. |
| Validate in | **Shipping address**, **Billing address**, or both. |
| Message to display | What the customer sees. English is required. |
